What started out as a trio of childhood friends has evolved into a quartet of intense musicians driven by the unique sound they create together. The original band members Michael Hayes (guitar/voice),Evan Behmer (percussion and Eric Csukor (keys) grew up together in the Chicago suburb of Glen Ellyn. After playing in different bands, studying at various colleges, and honing their individual musical skills, they eventually collaborated in 2006, dubbed themselves “3 in Counting”,and recorded Romance, their first CD of 5 original song tracks. Soon after, the band recruited Rob Kletsky (bass). A devoted fan following developed immediately. Drawn by the band’s refreshing mix of retro rock, upbeat grooves, tight jams, and original songs that you can’t help but move to. Fans describe the live shows as ‘happy music, good people, good times’.
