Hailed by the critics, Golden Globes, Emmy’s and recently by the Tony’s and the Academy, Stanley Tucci has achieved countless accolades for acting across the mediums of film, television and theater.  Tucci’s over 50 film performances include unforgettable roles in modern classics such as JULIE & JULIA, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, and ROAD TO PERDITION.  Also an accomplished writer, director and producer, Tucci’s directorial credits include the beloved drama BIG NIGHT, along with THE IMPOSTERS and JOE GOULD’S SECRET.  His next directorial project, THE HUNTER, stars Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore. 

For many accomplishments over his tremendous career, the Hamptons International Film Festival is pleased to honor Stanley Tucci with the 2010 Outstanding Achievement in Acting Award.  Tucci will also serve as the official mentor for this year’s HIFF Breakthrough Performers Program.
